One of the newest and most significant innovations in Perkins V is the Comprehensive Local Needs Assessment (CLNA), which requires local recipients to look at data on learner performance, teacher pipeline, labor market information and more on a regular basis. The CLNA can lead to transformative change if used effectively, but getting implementation right will be tricky. In this session, participants will explore strategies and considerations for effective implementation of the CLNA and hear from two leading states.
